Jonas' allows us to share his journey through BreakThrough. It all began with a phone call to a cousin who had attended and shared his heart. Finished BT 2. Spent some time talking out some of our struggles in our marriage. We sort of hit a sharp corner in our situation. Maybe a hairpin curve. We may have even plowed into the rail and spun out.
We started anew. We chose to do things differently.
Christina started BT 1, the same weekend I started BT 3.
BT 3 was a little easier for me than BT 2, but hard for some of the other people in the group. It was good. More excellent tools for life. More training, more self learning.
We left BT 1 and BT 3 together. Had dinner and headed home. Now my hope was really growing. We were both starting to work from the same set of tools, the same training, the same goals. We were both tossing out some bad habits and introducing some important habits into our marriage.
We continued BT training until we both finished BT 1-4. Now we are looking forward to another class. We'll take it together.
We feel very lucky to have had this experience at this point in our marriage. We're at that age when we are watching couples around us divorce. Sucks. We feel lucky to be building some new energy into our relationship. I feel lucky to be adjusting some important things in my personal behavior, responses and choices.

ps. A funny thing happened a few weeks ago. I shaved a mohawk for a birthday party I was going to. A guy at the party took my picture and added the hearts not knowing my recent training experience. It was perfect.
